A great apple slice that is very easy to make

Follow up:

• 1 pkt Vanilla Cake Mix (generic brand is fine);
• 1 cup desiccated coconut;
• 125g butter, melted

Combine above ingredients, press into lined lamington tin, and cook for 10 minutes at 180°C.

While base is cooking, combine the apple mixture (400g pie apple) 300ml sour cream, 1 egg and 1 dessert spoon of white sugar. Spread over the base and sprinkle cinnamon or cinnamon sugar over the slice. Cook for 30 minutes.

Cut when completely cooled (preferably after being refrigerated).
